Big thanks to Grizzly Growler, a nice-looking Montana-focused beer blog, for recording this great footage and putting it up on You Tube. Looks like the site does much more than just Montana beer, and it is definitely worth a spot in your news reader or bookmarks list.
There is great information on the upcoming Bottlework’s 11th Anniversary release, which will be a blend of different barrel-aged stouts from Big Sky Brewing. There is also some talk of the history of the Bottlework’s anniversary releases, as well as information about future releases. Listen carefully towards the very end of the video when they talk about plans for future releases from the Bruery (12th), Stone (13th), and Cascade (14th). Exciting stuff!
I’ll be anxiously awaiting the Big Sky blend. Look for news about the exact timing of the 11th Anniversary release coming early in 2010. This year’s releases (HOTD Matt and New Belgium 10th Anniversary Wild Ale) took place in February.
If it’s anywhere close to the Big Sky Ivan the Terrible, this one will be money.
