Two Days Left to Vote for Your Favorite Washington IPA at Beveridge Place Pub; Cask-O-Rama Starts Thursday

October 31st, 2011 · No Comments · Events, Washington Breweries

The field of Washington IPAs has been narrowed down to three in a contest to see which beer will serve as Beveridge Place Pub‘s house IPA for 2012: American Breakaway, Boundary Bay, or Georgetown Lucille. Customers are able to try all three and vote for their favorites through tomorrow evening, November 1. My suggestion: sit at the bar and kindly ask the bartender to serve them to you blind…then make your selection.

The winning IPA will be announced on Thursday evening at 8pm, which is also the first day of the BPP Cask-O-Rama. They’ll pour twenty-four casks of Washington IPAs from the bartop between Thursday, Nov 3 and Saturday, Nov 5. Last year they had casks of:

Anacortes, Black Raven Trickster, Big Al, Big Time Bhagwans, Boundary Bay, Diamond Knot, Dicks, Elysian Immortal, Fish Organic, Flyers Afterburner, Fremont Interurban, Hale’s Mongoose, Harmon Pt. Defiance, Iron Horse, Leavenworth Hodgsons, Northern Lights, Pike, Rock Bottom Hop Bottom, Schooner Exact 3-Grid, Scuttlebutt, Skagit River Scullers, Snipes Mt.,Snoqualmie Wildcat, and Two Beers Echo.
