April 13th, 2012 · No Comments · Beer Releases, Washington Breweries

In the never-ending search for quality, low alcohol session beers made by local breweries, this release definitely caught my attention. Stop by the Foggy Noggin Brewing tasting room in Bothel this Saturday to try their 4.2% ABV MLK Alt. Get it while you can; it won’t last long.

More from Foggy Noggin:

Foggy Noggin Brewing is releasing a very limited seasonal beer this Saturday – April 14th (1-4PM) at our tasting room in Bothell, WA.
This beer is in very limited and will have a very short run cycle.  Only brewed one day each year, MLK day in January. 1/2 Pint sales only at the brewery tasting room, while this beer lasts. Last year this beer was gone before many had the opportunity to try it, so no growler fills this year and limiting this to 1/2 pints only.

MLK Alt – German Alt
Every beer has a dream and in respect of the great MLK, beer’s all over the world have gained equality.  English, German, Belguim and even American beers are now seen on tap next to each other.  MLK Alt is brewed as a traditional German Alt and fits in perfectly with the Foggy Noggin English beer line-up.  Brewed in the winter and lagered until the spring provides a crisp, sharp flavor profile and a nice hop backbone.   Prost!
