One of the best things about getting Monday off for the Memorial Day holiday is that Thursday is already here and the week continues to fly by. If you’re ready to get the upcoming weekend started a bit early, Brouwer’s Cafe and Beveridge Place Pub both have some events worth considering tonight.
Brouwer’s Cafe will be hosting Oregon’s Double Mountain Brewery for the release of their new Clusterf#ck Single-Hop IPA. They will have a total of seven Double Mountain beers on tap starting at 6pm, including the Gravity Mountain collaboration IPA they did with Terminal Gravity Brewing. Double Mountain is one of my favorite Oregon breweries, and you won’t have a hard time finding a beer you like from the lineup.
Beveridge Place Pub will be having a Firestone Walker Brewers Night this evening starting at 7pm. Hop-heads will be pleased by the firkin of Union Jack IPA, kegs of Double Jack and their new Wookie Jack CDA. They’ll also have a keg of Walker’s Reserve Porter on tap, as well as bottles of the very special Sucaba barrel-aged barleywine.
