The Celebration of Beer at Skamania Lodge is a special event that would be tough to replicate in most areas of the country. Beyond the quality beer lineup featuring offerings from local breweries, the atmosphere for the festival is pretty special. Located in Stevenson, WA, Skamania Lodge is situated in a picture-perfect setting in the middle of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The lodge sits on top of a 175-acre wooded estate that offers fantastic views, a relaxing setting, and all the amenities of a modern hotel.
The annual Celebration of Beer event features a small selection of local breweries pouring beers, including new seasonal releases. This year’s event on October 5 will feature Double Mountain, Full Sail, Walking Man, Acadian Farms, Backwoods, Amnesia, Big Horse, Lompoc, Hopworks Urban Brewery, Deschutes, and more.
My wife and I really enjoyed attending the festival last year, and I’m sad we won’t be able to make it this year. October 4-6 has shaped up to be a busy beer weekend, but if you are looking for a getaway weekend that also includes awesome beer, this event is hard to beat.
You can book your room now at Skamania.com.
