If you are looking for an indulgent pairing leading up to the holidays, look no further than what The Sixgill in Fremont will be serving up tomorrow night, Saturday, December 20. They will be pouring eight beers from The Bruery in California, and three of those beers will be paired with special appetizers.
One of the appetizers will feature the 15% ABV 5th anniversary beer from The Bruery, called Bois, paired with a foie gras and gingerbread terrine. They will also pour the sixth beer in The Bruery’s “12 Days of Christmas Series”, a dark and toasty 11.5% ABV winter ale called Six Geese-A-Laying, which will be paired with roasted pork belly and some honeycrisp apple. Finally, you could choose the Tart of Darkness Sour Stout paired with fresh house-made cheese and some huckleberry jam.
