Around the Horn

I’ve been pretty busy this week and haven’t gotten much up on the blog, if you haven’t noticed….here is the part where I send you off to other Seattle/WA blogs to keep up (if you aren’t already there anyways).

The Washington Beer Blog has some weekend ideas for you that include checking out the new Pillager’s Pub and heading to Beveridge Place for leftovers from the Full Sail brewers night (cask Black Gold or randalized Slipknot anyone?)

The Beer Retard is off on an east coast adventure. He should be at Philly Beer Week by now, and he has a couple posts up about his visit to foreign places such as Dogfish Head and Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits.

Paul over at the Pickled Liver reports that the upcoming cask dinner at LaTona is unfortunately postponed for now…

The Emerald City Supertasters (which, I just found the other day) has a review of Dick’s Danger Ale.

Just a Simple Beer Blog checks out one of my favorites, Ivan the Terrible from Big Sky Brewing.

Myself, I’m off to watch some basketball this evening and then Jeanne and I are headed to Astoria early tomorrow AM. We’ll be checking out Fort George Brewery, Wet Dog Cafe/Astoria Brewing and the Rogue Public House out on the pier. Looking forward to it. Expect a full report sometime next week.

Also, just got word that the Hops & Props festival is already sold out!
