Brews & Bikes Article From Bicycling.com

June 25th, 2009 · 1 Comment · General Beer News

Just recently, I mentioned that I had bought a new bike and was looking forward to using it to pedal around to some beery spots. I also think that many would agree that after a good hike or bike ride, there is nothing quite like a refreshing beer (some researchers even say drinking beer is better than water after exercise…). Well, the folks at Bicycling.com seem to agree. They recently took on the task (hey, someone has to do it) of reviewing a bunch of bike-related beers. Some of the beer names are directly bike related, and some of the breweries are involved in sponsoring bicycling events. You can see the full article here.

These are the featured beers:
Squatters Full Suspension Pale Ale (Utah)
Flying Dog Tire Bite Golden Ale (Maryland – Formerly Colorado)
Terrapin SunRay Wheat (Georgia)
Pike Tandem Double Ale (Washington)
Boulder Singletrack Copper Ale (Colorado)
Oskar Blues Gordon (Colorado)
Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat (California)
Full Sail Session (Oregon)
La Rulles Estivale (Belgium)
Arbor Brewing Tree Fort (Michigan)
New Belgium Fat Tire (Colorado)

Cheers to Bicycling.com for including a nice array of beers and for doing a good job of voicing their thoughts and opinions!
