Washington Beer Fest at Brouwer’s Cafe This Weekend

October 21st, 2009 · 1 Comment · Events, Washington Breweries

Brouwer’s Cafe is known as one of the best beer bars in the country. On most visits to the bar you’ll find an outstanding selection of international beer and craft beer from across the country pouring next to a selection of local gems. But, this weekend (starting when they open on Friday) Brouwer’s will be celebrating Washington beer by switching every single one of their 60+ taps over to local Washington breweries. Head on over to celebrate the great beer we have available to us locally. If you are a WABL member, show your passport to your server or bartender and get happy hour prices all weekend! A preliminary beer list follows.

Year in and year out, we here at Brouwer’s Cafe consider ourselves to be an International Beer Bar. Well coming up this October 23rd, we’re turning all of the taps over to Washington, our home state. We’re going to have the best that Washington has to offer from as far and wide as we can get.

Take pride in the best Beer state in the world and come down for a little taste of Washington. Along with all of the local beers we will be serving up classic Washington inspired dishes.

I’m one of the few local bloggers who’s a naysayer when it comes to WA beer. Far as West Coast beer goes, I think our breweries fall way short of OR and CA. But I’m looking forward to trying some of these with an open mind. I want to be blown away by something…
