Call to Washington Breweries: Brewing News National IPA Challenge Registration Deadline Coming Up

January 5th, 2010 · 4 Comments · Events, Washington Breweries

It’s back! The entry deadline for the 2010 National IPA Challenge is coming up on January 20, 2010. The winners from the last two years, Laurelwood Workhorse and Green Flash West Coast IPA, are both back in the lineup to defend their title. While you must register online by January 20, you have until February 8th to send in your samples for the competition. Registration is limited to the first 64 entries, and the field already looks at least 1/2 full. So, you would be best to hurry if you plan on entering.

You can find more info about the competition here: http://www.brewingnews.com/nipac/

The Northwest had a great showing last year, and I’d love to see more Washington entries this year!

And for all of the consumers out there, I’ll post again when the full lineup is set and you can fill out your brackets (best bracket gets a case of the winning beer!).

Note that this competition is put on by the Brewing News and run by the Great Lakes Brewing News. This is different than my WA IPA Challenge from this past August.
