Today, the Seattle Times announced what I’d like to think is a step in the right direction to get more craft beer content flowing in Seattle’s mainstream media. Seattle Beer News was announced as an official local news partner with the Seattle Times today.
What’s that really mean? Well, there will be frequent strategically placed direct links to SBN posts in their Food/Living section online, and Seattle Times readers will be able to see a page with the 3 most recent posts from the blog as well. At this point, there will be no content included in the Seattle Times print paper, but this is hopefully a step closer to that (absolutely no guarantees…just hoping).
Kudos to the Seattle Times for making this move, especially to the contacts that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. And, welcome to any visitors coming our way from the Seattle Times!

Thanks everyone!
Pat – yeah, that would be the ideal situation…a beer equal of their Wine Adviser.

CONSARNIT! Does this mean there won’t be anymore swearing allowed in the comments?
