This is it. The official launch of Barleywine Season starts today with the first day of the Beveridge Place Pub Barleywine Bacchanal. 50 barleywines will rotate through 24 dedicated taps starting today and ending March 6. They will pour older vintages from the cellar, rare offerings, and various special events will be spread throughout the week. While it kicks off tonight, one of my favorite things about this festival is that they spread the lineup throughout the whole week. If you don’t feel like fighting crowds tonight, you can show up pretty much any time during the week and be treated to some great barleywines.
