Let’s just make this a day for beer dinner posts, shall we? Here is another one that is sure to fill up. I believe this is just the second beer dinner that the Corson Building has ever held. The first was the Belgianfest beer dinner held back in February (see my review here). New Belgium will be the featured brewery, and this dinner will showcase their Lips of Faith series beers. Here is the info:
Friday, May 21, 6pm
Join us for an exceptional night of food and beer, as renowned chef Matt Dillon, and sommelier Marc Papineau, work their magic with a special selection of New Belgium’s limited-availability Lips Of Faith beers. We will focus mainly on beers inspired by traditional Belgian and Northern French beers, such as our Bier de Mars, Le Fleur Misseur?, Eric’s Ale, Transatlantique Kriek, Belgian Blonde, and La Folie. Get to know your neighbors over an incredible 5-course meal, served family-style, while expanding the boundaries of your palate, and learning about eclectic beer styles from one of New Belgium’s most tenured and entertaining co-owners, Jamie Mastin. This will be one Seattle Beer Week event not to miss!
$90 per person, excluding tax & gratuity. Seating is limited! Please contact The Corson Building for reservations: 206-762-3330.

why has becoming a beer lover become so expensive?

In this case, because the beer comes with a five-course meal at what many consider one of the best restaurants in Seattle:-)
I agree, though. You just can’t do everything….especially when it comes to beer dinners.

Try being a beer AND wine lover. It is hard to cover a fraction of the awesome events available to us and I haven’t been able to cover a dinner since August.
Is is rude to write up a dinner given as a birthday present? 😛
Wish I could make this one you just know that it is going to ROCK!
