You might not want to eat a very big lunch on Monday leading up to this 8 course/12 beer dinner at Brouwer’s Cafe, featuring beers from California’s Firestone Walker Brewing and culinary delights from the “Homebrew Chef”, Sean Paxton, and Brouwer’s chef Eric Draper. Sean Paxton’s beer dinners are legendary in San Francisco, near his hometown of Sonoma, and this is a great opportunity for local Seattle foodies to see what can be done with beer and food pairings at the extreme end of the spectrum. Beyond just pairing beer with meals, Paxton focuses on using beer in his cooking as well. There are several opportunities for outstanding beer dinners during Seattle Beer Week on Monday, but the full menu below might make up your mind. For reservations email IanR@Brouwer’sCafe.com.

Wow, that’s definitely a huge meal. Hopefully they make this an annual thing with Seattle Beer Week because I need to prepare my stomach for that before heading in. 🙂
