It’s shaping up to be another beautiful Seattle day for the 3rd day of Seattle Beer Week. Below are a few highlights for the day, including options to drink beer outside, followed by a full list of events.
Feliz Compleaños @ The Dray – Celebrate The Dray’s second anniversary with a big party in their parking lot featuring lots of good beer, tacos, paella, games, and more beer. Pike Brewing will be featured, and the Dray always has an outstanding tap list. The party starts at noon. Stick around for a Sounders viewing party at 4:30pm as well.
Schooner EXACT Public Preview – Join Heather, Matt, and Hutch on May 15 during Seattle Beer Week for an opening event at the brewery from 11am to 8pm. You will be able to check out the new tasting room and enjoy their standard lineup, as well as some special one-off beers they have been saving. You’ll also be able to grub on some BBQ ribs (fantastic at last year’s opening!) and pulled pork sandwiches. Check out my recent post for additional information on the new brewery and tasting room.
Meet Gumer Santos of Rochefort Trappist Brewery – You will have 2 chances today to meet Mr. Santos, the brewer for Rochefort Trappist Brewery in Belgium, as well as the company’s export agent, Alfons Vandermolen. From 2pm to 4pm, Malt and Vine will host the pair as part of their 3rd Anniversary Party, and from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, they will visit The Stumbling Monk for a rare special event at the laid-back Belgian beer-focused bar.

From Iron Horse’s Facebook Page:
Seattle Beer Week is almost here and so is our first solo event of SBW. This Saturday (5/15) we will be at Mike’s Chili Parlor in Ballard from 6pm until they close (or we pass out). We will have Irish Death and a yet to be determined selection on tap plus we’ll be giving away IHB gear and hopefully some knowledge. The …food is already famously delicious, so come down and find out how well it pairs with our beer. You can even call Ross if you have questions at 509 859 3783 (probably a bad idea to make this an option, but oh well).
Geoff – Did you stick around for the delayed Firestone @ Collins?
flop – we did stick around. Had a couple of Chuckanut Rauchbier’s to pass the time…
Really enjoyed the dinner and the beers.
