September 9th, 2010 · 2 Comments · Beer & Food, Washington Breweries

If you are intrigued by the sound of a “Peanut Butter Stout” and food pairings that include Ox Tongue Street Tacos and Pickled Pigs Ears, then you won’t want to miss this Extreme Beer Pairing and Mustache Contest at Tom Douglas’ Palace Ballroom on Thursday, September 16, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. There will be ten beers from five breweries paired with five intriguing appetizers from Tom Douglas Catering. Cheers to Tom Douglas and his “Beer Czar”, Warren Peterson, for continuing to focus on pairing great beers with great food. Don’t forget your mustache; the best one (fake or real) wins a prize. Maybe I should shave my beard?
