There is a lot to love about Brouwer’s Cafe, but one thing that really makes them stick out as one of the best beer bars in the country is their ability to put on amazing events and festivals throughout the year. Their Hopfest will take place this Friday and features over 60 hoppy beers on tap. Doors open at 11am and these beers will poured until the kegs are emptied, so you can likely stop by later in the weekend to see what is left. Bottleworks will also be getting in on the fun and all 9 of the bottle shop’s taps will be pouring hoppy beers starting at 11am on Friday as well.
Following is a preliminary beer list for the event. As for myself, I may just sip on Russian River Blind Pig all night…

Geoff –
Congrats BTW! My new wife and I will be traveling to Seattle Oct 1 for a delayed honeymoon, and I wanted to get your take on MUST stops around town. Octoberfest events, beer joints (we’re staying in Belltown and Wallingford), restaurants, anything would be mucho apprecated. So far, I’ve planned for Art of the Table and Bottleworks, can’t wait! Thanks!
