3rd Annual Vashon Island CiderFest Coming Up on October 9

If you are one of the many people that continue to explore the wonders of hard cider, then head over to Vashon Island on October 9 for the 3rd Annual Vashon Island Ciderfest. 30 ciders will be pouring from the following northwest cidermakers: Blue Mountain Cider Co, Eaglemount Wine & Cider, Finnriver Farm & Cidery, Irvine’s Cider, Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Red Barn, Tieton Cider Works, Wandering Aengus Ciderworks, Westcott Bay Cider, and Wildfire.  International ciders will come from Eric Bordelet- Normandy, France and Aspall Ciders and Samual Smith Cider from England.

You’re invited to the Vashon Island CiderFest!

If you missed it last year, put October 9th on your calendar. CiderFest is a growing community event that promises to be loads of fun!

Activities on the Village Green are free, but you must have a ticket to attend the events at Misty Isle Farms. Space at the Cider Tasting, Barbeque Dinner and Barn Dance may be limited, so get your tickets in advance!

Also offered are raffle tickets for a one of a kind, custom made steel cider press made by Islander Bob Powell of meadowcreature.com to be raffled off on the Village Green by the Vashon Island Fruit Club.
