Not much bacon in the flavor. You could definitely taste the peat smoked malt, though.

Good to know. I love smoked beers, but I’m not such a huge fan of peat smoke (in beer – love it in scotch). You can get (or create) things like hickory-smoked or maple-smoked malt, which would seem more appropriate to this brew and might have reinforced the sense of “bacon” in the beer.

awful beer. 4 people at the table and we couldn’t finish one 12 oz pour.
