The Cascade Brewers Guild will be holding their 5th Annual ExBEERience Beer Festival at Redhook on Saturday, March 12. The event will give you the chance to sample beers from professional breweries and home brewers alike, and proceeds will benefit Childhaven, a Seattle non-profit helping the victims of child neglect and abuse.

The event takes place in the Weatherman’s Room at Redhook from Noon to 5 PM on Saturday, March 12 and is open to the public.  ExBEERience is a celebration of beer and the brewing community and will feature more than 15 craft brewers pouring along with home brew samples from Puget Sound home brew clubs.  The event also includes beer judging workshops, a Joe’s versus Pro’s competition, and presentation of awards for both the 2011 Cascade Brewers Cup — Washington’s largest homebrew competition — and annual awards by the Washington Homebrewer’s Association.
