Looking for a road trip for the weekend of March 12? The luxurious Alderbrook Resort & Spa is hosting a Brewmasters Dinner featuring Lazy Boy Brewing and Naked City Brewing on Saturday, March 12. To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Shawn Loring (Lazy Boy) and Don Webb (Naked City) will be on hand for a five course dinner featuring pairings from the two breweries. See the full menu below.

While I didn’t realize it at the time, Jeanne and I actually checked out this resort when we were driving by on our way to the Staircase section of Olympic National Park a couple of years ago. To say it is breathtaking is an understatement. We did not stay there, but we both agreed that we would love to come back for a visit someday.

This is a perfect opportunity to drive over late morning Saturday on the ferry and make stops at Silver City Brewing and maybe the Hale’s Pub location in Silverdale. From there, it’s not too far of a drive down south to the resort.

The event starts at 6:30pm and the cost is $59 per person.
