Full Throttle will be hosting Skagit River Brewery for a tasting tonight, including the draft-only Gospel IPA and the impressive Trumpeter Imperial Stout.
From Full Throttle:
Georgetown, WA – I can’t believe we’ve been open three years and not ONCE had Mike from Skagit River Brewery here to showcase his beers! Now we all know Sculler’s IPA but have you ever had his Gospel IPA? Didn’t think so. Well now’s your chance to rectify that deficiency! Come down on Wednesday, meet Mike, sample some of his delicious beer, and he might even have some cool swag to give away. I know I’m wearing my special hoodie! But seriously, I ordered LOTS of the Trumpeter stout specifically for this event…so be sure come get this limited and amazing delicious beer.
Sculler’s IPA: A malty IPA-lover’s dream. Full of Northwest hops and a rich and fruity malt backbone. Why say more? Open the bottle and drink some! BOTTLE
Gospel IPA: It’s a religious experience, and fresh off the draft in a growler! This fine IPA is piney, citrusy, and a great example of a true “West Coast” IPA – and that’s the gospel truth. GROWLER
Steelie Brown Ale: Favored for its luscious malt character and smooth finish. The Brown Ale’s caramel, roast and chocolate flavors go well with many foods – it’s “comfort beer” at it’s finest. BOTTLE
Trumpeter Stout: A “Big Bird” by any measure! This years Trumpeter is a huge beer with rich layers of smoke, chocolate, roast, caramel, jet fuel, motor oil and hops. Blowing above 10% abv, this bird should walk, not fly. BOTTLE
We will be tasting these on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 5-7pm. Bring your own glass to be GREEN and save $1!
Thanks, Erika & Crew
