May 26th, 2011 · No Comments · Events

With so many great events there is no way I can highlight them all. But, I’ll be posting every day during Seattle Beer Week and picking out two or three exciting events for the current day, as well as a couple for the following day.

Full Event List for Thursday, May 26

Picks for Thursday, May 26

Full Sail Bourbon Brews at Beveridge Place Pub – Stop on by BPP to sample five vintage Full Sail brews all aged in bourbon barrels. Brewmaster John Harris will be on hand for the night as well. Beers: Top Sail Imperial Porter ’10, Black Gold Imperial Stout ’09 & ’11, and Old Boilermaker Barleywine ’09 & ’98 (this is not a typo). Plus, as a special bonus, the debut of Elevation Double IPA.

Cellar Night at Fremont Brewing – Come down to Fremont Brewing for Cellar Night as we pull out the strange, stranded and straggler beers. Also, we will feature “Left Handed Dark Star”, our collaboration with Left Hand Brewing where we blended Dark Star and Milk Stout.

Sour Beer Fest at Brouwer’s –  If you dig the sours, you best get yourself to Brouwer’s. Someone bring the tums. One of the best sour beer showcases in the country.

A Look Ahead: Friday, May 27

Firkins on the Bar at Maritime – 6 special casks of your favorite Maritime Beers: Tropicale Island (citrus infused Islander Pale,) The Bends (Bourbon Barrel Aged Decompression,) Coconut Rum infused Bosun’s Porter, Jolly Gator Old Ale, Dry Hopped Imperial, and Dry Hopped Jane’s Bitter
