A good brown ale is something I’m always happy to get a pint of. Cheers to American Brewing and the team at Brave Horse Tavern for collaborating on the tavern’s next house beer, Brave American Brown Ale.

More info from American Brewing:

When creative and talented people get together, some really exciting things can happen!

Recently Skip Madsen, our Master Brewer, and Warren Peterson, Sou Chef at the new Tom Douglas restaurant, Brave Horse Tavern, collaborated to create a beer that would pair well with their menu.

The result… “The BRAVE AMERICAN” Brown Ale.

This American Brown Ale is an exceptional choice for the Northwest craft beer drinker.  This deep coppery-brown ale has a toasty caramel flavor with an evident, but not over-powering, hop aroma.  There is a well balanced bitterness that doesn’t linger but transitions to a very clean finish with just a subtle hint of citrus from dry-hopping.  A perfect ale for year-round enjoyment.

Your first opportunity to try this new ale will be at it’s release night:

August 16th
4:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Brave Horse Tavern

After that, we will be offering the Brave American in our tasting room. Stop by and let us know what you think of it. Your input will help us to determine it’s future in our beer line-up!
