Pro-Am Rally at Pillagers Pub This Sunday, September 18

September 15th, 2011 · No Comments · Events, Homebrewing, Washington Breweries

On Sunday, you’ll have a chance to taste most of the winning beers from the Puget Sound Pro-Am, which have been scaled up by local professional breweries and are on their way to compete at the Great American Beer Festival later this month. Stop by Pillagers Pub after 4pm on Sunday to give these a try.

More information from Mark Emiley of the Washington Homebrewers Association:

Beer lovers, come out for the Puget Sound’s celebration of the great tie between homebrewers and craft brewers for a joint tapping of the Puget Sound Pro-Am competition winning beers. You can taste around a dozen homebrew recipes scaled up and brewed by Washington brewers before many of them head to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival’s Pro-Am competition.

Three Skulls Ale’s will be hosting this year’s Pro-Am celebration at their Pillager’s Pub location in Greenwood on Sunday, September 18th. You’ll be able to start ordering mini-flights of Pro-Am beers starting at 4:00 pm. You can try as many as you’d like until they run out so come early and try them all. Anyone can come to the event (homebrewers and beer lovers) and experience some beers brewed by great pioneering homebrewers. You can find out more about the winning beers at www.bewbc.org/pro-am.
