Here are a few events coming up this week you might be interested in:

Snipes Progression Event at The Noble Fir – Snipes is one of my favorite Washington breweries, and The Noble Fir is one of my favorite Seattle bars. They are doing a Snipes Progression Event this Thursday, Nov. 3rd where they will be tapping B.U.tiful Fresh Hop IPA, Dark Matters CDA, and a 2010 Pumpkin Death – one of previous brewmaster Chris Miller’s beers. They open at 4pm. Get the last of the fresh hop beers while you still can!

WA IPA Cask-O-Rama at Beveridge Place Pub – BPP will pour twenty-four casks of Washington IPAs from the bartop between Thursday, Nov 3 and Saturday, Nov 5 as the final celebration to finish off their Hoptoberfest, where customers vote for their favorite WA IPAs. The winner will be announced tonight at 8pm, and that beer will be the house IPA at BPP for 2012. Quite the honor. Last year they had casks of:

Anacortes, Black Raven Trickster, Big Al, Big Time Bhagwans, Boundary Bay, Diamond Knot, Dicks, Elysian Immortal, Fish Organic, Flyers Afterburner, Fremont Interurban, Hale’s Mongoose, Harmon Pt. Defiance, Iron Horse, Leavenworth Hodgsons, Northern Lights, Pike, Rock Bottom Hop Bottom, Schooner Exact 3-Grid, Scuttlebutt, Skagit River Scullers, Snipes Mt.,Snoqualmie Wildcat, and Two Beers Echo.

Beer & Cheese Tasting at Urbane – Urbane is hosting its second annual beer and cheese evening with River Valley Ranch and Pike Brewing Company this Saturday, Nov. 5th. Guests will be able to explore the possibilities of the collaboration and unique pairings of beer and cheese. The five-course menu with beer pairings is only $19 and will be set in a cocktail party-like atmosphere.
