Happy Thanksgiving From Seattle Beer News

November 24th, 2011 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Hope your day is spent with friends and loved ones, and good food and beer of course. Thanksgiving is a time to get a little cheesy and not just reflect on how thankful you are for the meal you’ll be eating today, but also for anything else in your life. Here are a few things I’m thankful for.

  1. My beautiful wife who understands me like no one else.
  2. Family all over the country who I wish I could see more often.
  3. A set of friends in Seattle who make me feel like this is home.
  4. Friends in Chicago who I miss constantly. Wish I could make it back more often.
  5. Parents that raised me well.
  6. The fact that Jeanne and I are both lucky enough to have great jobs that we both enjoy.
  7. Our cat, Etta.
  8. Pigs. Bacon + sausage + ham = a magical creature.
  9. The opportunity to write about beer in an amazing beer scene in Seattle that just continues to get better.
  10. Our adopted home in the PNW. I love this part of the country.
Feel free to leave a comment letting us know what you’re thankful for.
