Brouwer’s Cafe Hard Liver Barleywine Festival Update

Below¬†is an update to how things are coming along for the upcoming¬†Hard Liver Barleywine Festival at Brouwer’s on March 3.

Our Cooler is filling up with this delicious, malty beverage. This will be the 10th anniversary of the event. It will be the 7th year here at Brouwer’s. We have a lot of the usual suspects and of course some special items. We are throwing around the idea doing a Vertical Night on Monday, March 5th with Stone Old Guardian (08-current) and Lagunitas Gnarlywine (08- current). Some Barleywines Currently in our cooler:

There you have it, We are trying to keep you up to date with our inventory as much as possible…Have no fear we will be keeping you posted as we get more and more in. We are very excited about this festival our 10th Anniversary of the event. Mark your calenders and get ready.

If you’re here because you followed a link about Brouwer’s being named Best Adventure Bar in the West in an Outside Magazine article, I was alerted that the article was a couple of years old and it has been removed.

    Does anyone read the publishing date on these? This Outside article is from Friday, July 23, 2010. “Recently” compared to the end of prohibition, perhaps.

    Ha – nope, I didn’t read the publishing date. Saw that Brouwer’s sent out the link to it yesterday, and I mistakenly assumed it was recent.
