Emerald City Beer Company recently announced that they have chosen Odom Corporation to help expand their footprint in the Northwest. Their beer, including the flagship Dottie Seattle Lager, will now be available throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.

Congrats to owner and brewmaster, Rick Hewitt. Since opening their pilot brewery in Seattles’ Old Rainier Building in 2010, they’ve been distributing as much Dottie’s as possible, and the reception to it across the city has been great. It is an enjoyable and sessionable brew, and hopefully this new deal will be a sign of bigger things to come for the brewery.

This truly is a Seattle Lager, the base grain is 100% Washington Select grown barley. The specialty
grains, Vienna, Munich, and Melanoidin, are predominately grown in the southeast counties of the
state and the generous helping of American Nobel Hops: Magnum & Liberty hops that balances out
this malty brew are grown by farmers in the Yakima Valley.
Dottie pours a clean and clear copper-reddish color with a frothy white head. The beer’s medium body
and crisp finish results is a great all-season session beer best known for its sweet biscuit flavors.
