As fresh hop beer season winds down, there are still plenty of these seasonal beers pouring at various spots around town. If you need to catch up on what you have missed, The Pine Box will be pouring “about 20 or so” different fresh hop beers on tap tonight. The full list is below, but the lineup will include the Bainbridge Island Brewing Locabore, which took 3rd place at The Fresh Hop Throwdown earlier this month and is one of my personal favorite fresh hop beers of the year.

In addition to the fresh hop beers, they will be running a bit of an experiment tonight. They will be pouring Fremont Pale Ale through 10 Randalls side-by-side, and each Randall will be filled with a different variety of hop. Customers will be able to taste the beers next to each other and see if they can pick out the unique flavors imparted by the various hop strains. This is truly beer geekery at its finest.
