If you are looking to watch election results this Tuesday and would prefer to head out instead of sitting on your couch by yourself, you are not alone. Many bars across the city will be skipping the Ball St. vs. Toledo game on ESPN 2 (the only live sporting event being televised on Tuesday, I believe) in favor of tracking election results.
Following are just a few of the spots where you can join others in catching the results while enjoying good beer. If you’d like to add another place to the list, please leave a comment or send me an email.
418 Public House
Beveridge Place Pub
Brave Horse Tavern
Naked City Brewery & Taphouse
The Noble Fir (See details below)
The Pine Box
Urban Family Public House & Brewery (See details below)
Tippe & Drague
Also, Naked City will be hosting a “Think & Drink” pre-election event tonight with dueling political cartoonists, including David Horsey & Milt Prigge.
Details for Noble Fir:
Tapping Engine House #9 Hard Day’s Work, a Bourbon Barrel Aged Saison, Bear Republic Racer X, and Pliny
Details for Urban Family:
We’re doing some election night specials:
Obama Burger: Chicago style burger w/ neon green relish, tomatos, pickles, mustard and celery salt
Romney Burger: Upper midwestern Juicy Lucy (cheese stuffed burger)
We’re pouring some Boneyard Alias, bottle pours of Anchorage Love Buzz Saison and one or two others that I’m waiting for confirmation on. Oh and it’s happy hour all night. $6 burger + fries and $1 off all beer.

Any other places near downtown for election night coverage and brews?

Both the Pine Box and Brave Horse Tavern are both not too far from downtown.
Haven’t heard from any beer spots right downtown that they will have election coverage on with the sound.

Not “beer” spots but, Pink Door and Sazerac are two downtown options!
