More info from Full Throttle:
Come join us as we welcome back Alejandro from Merchant du Vin to explore just a few of the amazing beers from their portfolio. We’ll be doing a little fun sampling and blending to create delicious beer based beverages. Well, at least a few. So romantic…We’ll be making Raspberry Truffles, Frambiciders, Strawberry Dreams, and Cherry Drops. Not sure what those are? I can show you. And you will be the BEST Valentine ever if you make one of these for your Sweetie. We hope to see you here, we always have a great time, and even more fun when YOU come! See you soon!Cheers,Erika & CrewTastings are from 5-7pm & only $3 or bring your own glass (not disposable plastic or paper folks!) to be GREEN and save $1!Merchant du Vin Tasting Event:Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout: Full body; roasted barley flavor; fruity notes from the Samuel Smith yeast strain support lush chocolate aroma, taste & finish.
Samuel Smith Organic Strawberry Ale: Strawberries offer a soft and subtle flavour, making the character of this fruit beer extremely sophisticated and refined. The smooth malt and aromatic strawberry flavours merge together in an elegant fashion, with fresh, ripe strawberries shining through.
Samuel Smith Organic Cherry Ale:
High natural acidity makes sour cherries a great choice for creating an ultimate fruit beer. The vibrant cherry character of this beer is perfectly underpinned by deliciously complex beer notes which result from the multiple yeast strains used for fermentation.
Samuel Smith Organic Apple Cider: Bright straw-gold with excellent clarity, Samuel Smith’s Organic Cider has a light body with brilliant conditioning, a crisp clean flavor, and a dry finish. The bouquet is fresh apples, with a soft floral note.
Lindeman’s Framboise Lambic: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean taste.
We’ll be creating concoctions of bliss using the above beers (and one cider!). Taste them alone or as beer cocktail, your choice!
