Ouch. My liver hurts. When I think about the gauntlet of barleywine that is the Brouwer’s Cafe Hardliver Barleywine Fest, my liver gets pissed off at me. If you’ve never been, it is an annual barleywine event that features nearly 60 different barleywines from around the country.

The event will take place at Brouwer’s Cafe on March 23 when the doors open at 11am. There will be a line. A long one. Tables will be hard to come by. Bar seats? Even harder. If you don’t like crowds, you can visit on Sunday, or even later the next week, to see what is leftover.
