Happy Birthday America! Yup, the United States of America celebrates another year as an independent country, free from the tyranny of…wait. That’s way too serious. Let’s talk about beer. And how as a young country (relatively) we have the freedom and creativity to brew whatever we want. So let’s sample some of the brews that make us happy and proudly sport the colors of our independence; Red, White, and Blue!

Come on down as we sample some of the unique and new brews that celebrate who we are in this fine country. Whether it be a special beer, or simply a colorful red white & blue design, we are going to taste through some of the beers we find to be the most patriotic, and yummy too. Come see what we mean!

In honor of this event, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our fundraiser for Operation Ward 57. We are 1/3 there and I know we can do it. We can totally DO IT!!! Even if you can’t make the tasting event, be sure to drop your change in the register jar for our wounded warriors. Without whom our country would be a lot less free. Thank you to all our service folks in all branches! We salute you!

Cheers,
Erika & Crew

Tastings are from 5-7pm & only $3 or bring your own glass (not disposable plastic or paper folks!) to be GREEN and save $1!

PS-In honor of the birth of our country, we will be closed on Thursday July 4th! Please celebrate safely!

And here’s the requisite fine print for the tastings: Due to licensing laws in the state of Washington, we are limited to serving no more than 2oz per varietal/flavor and no more than a grand total of 8oz. You must be over the age of 21 to imbibe. (And I don’t mean dog years…)

BREW FREE! OR DIE IPA is brewed with some serious west coast attitude. This aromatic golden IPA starts with a sucker punch of six different hops to the nose, quickly balanced by a solid malt backbone. Our top selling beer at the pub, this IPA starts big and finishes clean leaving you wanting more.

Hale’s Pale Ale made its premier on July 4, 1983, as the inaugural brew of Mike Hale’s brewery. It has since established the standard by which other Northwest pale ales are measured. Possessing a delicate balance of malt and hop flavors and embellished by the distinctive fruitiness of our special ale yeast,Hale’s Pale Ale is flavorful and easy to drink, and a good example of the influences that have driven the renaissance in beer drinking in our country.

America’s first hand-canned craft beer is a voluminously hopped mutha that delivers a hoppy nose, assertive-but-balanced flavors of pale malts and hops from start to finish. First canned in 2002, Dale’s Pale Ale is a hearty (6.5% and 65 IBUs), critically acclaimed trailblazer that has changed the way craft beer fiends perceive canned beer.
This beer is so new, there’s not even a description about it! But trust me…this is one for the record books!
