Alejandro Brown of Big Al BrewingTime flies when you’re having fun. Cheers to Alejandro Brown and the rest of the crew at Big Al Brewing for 5 years of making great beers. Join them to celebrate this Saturday with special beers and live music.

From Big Al Brewing:

Come celebrate our 5 year anniversary with us this Saturday night with live music, a local food truck, and rare beers like Big Bertha Double IPA, Old Ale, Chile IPA, a few sours including Washington Beer Awards silver medal winning Jupiter’s Blood, Hard Liver Barleywine Festival winning Old #1 plus the release of Local Hero #14 Saison! Festivities begin at 4pm, music at 6:30. Live music from Natalie Wouldn’t – Ska, soul, and rock & roll • nataliewouldnt.com

Those special beers are worth the trip themselves…Jupiter’s Blood and Old #1 are two of my favorites from Big Al, and I quite enjoyed the Big Bertha Double IPA when I tasted it last month at the Seattle International Beer Festival.

Also, if you haven’t seen it you should pick up the Aug/Sep issue of the Northwest Brewing News and read my feature on Alejandro for the “Mugshots” column.
