We all know that Seattle has some of the best beer bars in the country, but I have no idea if the rest of the country has any idea just how lucky we are up here. CraftBeer.com wants to know what the best craft beer bars in America are, and I’d love to see several local bars make the list.
Whenever these types of country-wide “Best Of” beer lists come out it seems that Seattle often doesn’t carry its weight. I know it’s not because we don’t belong. I think it’s because we are so used to having good beer as part of our every day lives that we don’t always feel the need to shout from the rooftops how much we rock. Or, maybe you just don’t care what other people think. Well, I want people to know how great of a beer town this is. Lots of people do know how great it is, but many more people seem to still have no idea.
So, I’d encourage you to take the time and head to CraftBeer.com to nominate your favorite bar. What else are you going to do, work?
I think the reason Seattle doesn’t make these lists is because we can never agree among ourselves which bar to nominate. Let’s all just pick one – this year let’s choose Brouwer’s. Next year BPP, the following year Naked City. Future choices should be nominated below but this year it is Brouwer’s.
Everyone agree? I didn’t think so…
These results are clearly null and void. Since when is the capital of the confederacy considered the Northeast?
