Sample Special Releases at the WAHA Pro-Am Rally at Naked City This Thursday

November 4th, 2013 · No Comments · Homebrewing, Washington Breweries

One of the ultimate thrills for any homebrewer is to have a recipe you developed ramped up for production on a big system by a local brewery. That’s exactly what “Pro-Am” competitions do, and there are multiple opportunities at local competitions to become one of the lucky winners. Some of the winners even get to join in on the brew session, and many of these beers are even sent to compete at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. This Thursday from 6pm to 9pm, Naked City Brewery & Taphouse will be hosting a Pro-Am Rally featuring many of this year’s selected Pro-Am beers. You can see a preliminary list of beers for the event below.

More info from Washington Homebrewers Association (WAHA):

On Thursday, November 7th, Naked City Brewing will be hosting a Pro-Am Rally featuring many of Washington’s recently produced Pro-Am beers.  All of these beers were selected in local homebrew competitions and events (such as the Joint Cascade Cup and Puget Sound Pro-Am) and scaled up for commercial production.  They represent the close bond between Washington’s homebrewing and craft brewing communities.

This is your best chance to try these great homebrew inspired beers in one great setting (even more Washington Pro-Am beers will be available here than at the Great American Beer Festival).  The event is open to the public so come on out with your friends and enjoy a great evening.

The celebration will be between 6 and 9 pm and a limited amount of each beer is available so come down early for your best opportunity to try the beers and celebrate Washington’s homebrewing and craft brewing community.
