American Brewing Celebrates 3rd Anniversary This Saturday Before Expanding Operations

February 28th, 2014 · No Comments · Events, Washington Breweries

Cheers to American Brewing for 3 successful years of making great beer in Edmonds! “Brewmeister” Skip Madsen and company have been winning medals, attending events all over the country and working on expanding their operations. They will be partying this Saturday at the brewery with an anniversary celebration from Noon to 10pm. In addition to great beer, they’ll have live music, a food truck, raffle prizes and new merchandise for sale.

Once the party is over, American will be embarking on an expansion that will put a lot more of their beer on shelves and on tap. The expansion includes:

  • Upgrading from a 15 BBL Direct Fire Brew House to a 30 BBL Steam Powered Brew House.
  • Removing two 30 BBL Fermenters and one 30 BBL Brite Tank and replacing them with two 60 BBL Fermenters and one 60 BBL Brite Tank.
  • We are removing our existing walk in cooler and putting a new one outside.  Expanding it’s size from 12’x20’x11’H to 24’x34’x15’H
  • Massive new Glycol Chiller has been installed, which will produce 5 times the chilling power of our old one.
  • Tasting Room will move forward where current Walk In cooler now exists.
  • Bringing an element of food to the tasting room, FINALLY!
