Tickets go on sale tomorrow (11/19) to the general public for one of the most unique beer events you’ll find anywhere. Hops & Props will feature more than 50 breweries and cideries pouring samples from their booths set up throughout the Museum of Flight, one of the largest private, non-profit air and space museum in the world. The event won’t take place until February 28, 2015, but tickets always sell out well in advance. If you plan to attend, don’t wait; get your tickets when they go on sale tomorrow. Tickets are steep at $85 for the general public, but that includes unlimited tastes, an ample spread of food provided by McCormick & Schmick’s, live music and of course entrance to the museum. All proceeds of this event also go toward supporting The Museum of Flight.

It has been a few years since I attended the event, but it is a great time. It is not necessarily a “beer geek’s” festival, but there are more than enough great beers pouring, and the atmosphere can’t be beat. The list of breweries has not been announced, but it is typically focused on local breweries with regional/national breweries mixed in.
