Silver City Brewery’s Old Scrooge is pretty damn good in its original format; it did just win a silver medal at GABF, after all. But, take that beer and put it in bourbon barrels for a year, and the results should be pretty outstanding indeed.

They will be releasing Bourbon Barrel-Aged Old Scrooge this Friday, November 14, at the brewery taproom in Bremerton. There will be a limited amount of 22oz bottles for sale, with a maximum of 6 bottles per customer. I’m also assuming they will be pouring it on draught. There will also be special variety packs on sale, which include 12-22oz bottles of various beers, including specialties like the Bourbon Barrel Old Scrooge, The Giant Made of Shadows, B-Town Sour Brown and more.
