Belgianfest is a chance for Washington breweries to experiment a bit and show off their skills with Belgian-style beers. That general heading might include saisons, wood-aged sour beers, dubbels, tripels, strong ales, and more. This festival is quite unique, as some of these breweries don’t typically make Belgian-style beers for their regular lineup. It’s a great opportunity to try some beers you might not see anywhere else.
The festival will return to the Bell Harbor International Convention Center for the 6th annual event on Saturday, January 31. There are 2 separate sessions: Noon to 4pm and 5:30 to 9:30pm. The cost is $35 if you buy tickets in advance, or $40 at the door. Entry includes a commemorative tasting glass and ten 4oz samples.
