Tourists don’t know how lucky they have it. A brewery located in the iconic Pike Place Market could likely get away with making sub-par beers and still pack the house purely due to foot traffic. SinceĀ Charles & Rose Ann Finkel opened Pike Brewing back in 1989, they have been striving to make Seattle a better place by serving up quality ales to locals and tourists alike. In a city where new breweries continually open with mixed results as to the quality of their beers, Pike is one of the solid veterans of the Seattle beer scene.
Pike will be celebrating its 26th Anniversary with a Hoppy Hour this Friday, October 16, from 4pm to 6pm. In addition to $2.60 pints of Pike beers, there will be birthday cakes from Macrina and Gelatimo. Both Charles & Rose Ann will be on hand for the event, so I encourage you to stop by for a pint to say hello and cheers them on their success over the years.
