Holy Mountain Brewing Celebrates One Year Anniversary of Taproom With Special Beers and Bottle Release

January 22nd, 2016 · No Comments · Beer Releases, Events, Washington Breweries

It’s hard to believe that the taproom at Holy Mountain Brewing has only been open for one year. It seems like I’ve drank entirely too much great beer from there already for that to have all been within the span of a year. Cheers to the entire crew over there for a great first year. They will celebrate this weekend with a lineup of special beers they have squirreled away over the past year, as well as a bottle release.

The fun starts when they open today at noon with a bottle release for Grapefruit Table. If you are interested in buying bottles, make note that there will be a special entrance in back of the brewery where you have to purchase the bottles; they will NOT be available at the bar. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Also starting at noon today and lasting through Saturday, they will be sporadically tapping kegs of the following in no particular order:

The Hart
Bourbon Barrel Aged Bonne Nuit
Clarette
The Ox – Barrel aged with Brett
The Seer – Aged in White Wine Barrels
Gose
Bourbon Barrel Aged King’s Head with Cherries
Phosphene
The Gray Tower (Blend #2)
Brett-Conditioned Kiln & Cone
The Goat (Batch #1)
The Third Nail
2014 Watchman’s House
2014 Bonne Nuit
Coffee Vanilla Celestial Lineage

We’d like to invite everyone to join us in celebrating our one year anniversary at the Holy Mountain Taproom on Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd. It’s been an exciting year and we can’t thank our friends, family, and customers enough for all of your support and encouragement over the last year.

In year one, we brewed more than 70 different beers and we’ve been cellaring some of our favorites to break out for this celebration. The Taproom will be open from 12-10pm both Friday and Saturday. Over the course of two days, we’ll be tapping kegs of (in no particular order):

The Hart
Bourbon Barrel Aged Bonne Nuit
Clarette
The Ox – Barrel aged with Brett
The Seer – Aged in White Wine Barrels
Gose
Bourbon Barrel Aged King’s Head with Cherries
Phosphene
The Gray Tower (Blend #2)
Brett-Conditioned Kiln & Cone
The Goat (Batch #1)
The Third Nail
2014 Watchman’s House
2014 Bonne Nuit
Coffee Vanilla Celestial Lineage

Three Fates Pilsner and our new Nelson Extra Pale will be on tap consistently through the weekend. Both beers will be available in pre-filled 32oz growlers. We will not offer on-demand growler fills on Friday or Saturday in order to keep service moving smoothly.

On Friday, we’ll have some special bottles for sale when we open at noon and Peasant Food Manifesto will be parked out back from 5-8pm.

On Saturday, Bread and Circuses will be parked out back from 1-9pm and will be offering a special Anniversary menu. At 5pm Saturday, our good friend DJ Donnyllama will be spinning records and we plan on tapping a very special beer that we’ve never poured before but has become an integral part of what we’re doing here at Holy Mountain. We’re extremely excited to share this one with you.

Thank you all for the support and we hope you can make it out to celebrate!
