Press Release:
Hi-Fi Brewing is now offering the perfect pairing for their Hi-Fidelity beers: comedy. Hi-Fidelity Funny, the brewery’s monthly show, is quickly becoming one of the hottest tickets on the Eastside. Hosted by Seattle comedian Cris Rodriguez, who is featured on Sirius/XM radio and at comedy shows across Washington, the show brings some of the nation’s funniest comedians to a fun and refreshingly cool venue in a convenient location. The show has sold out every month so far, so it’s a good idea to buy tickets early.
Tony Daniel will headline the February edition of Hi-Fidelity Funny. Growing up in rural North Carolina, Tony Daniel learned that the line between tragedy and comedy is blurred at best. As a barefoot youth, he found that the best remedy for a stubbed toe was a quick wit and a hearty laugh. A US Navy veteran, Daniel takes pride in performing for the armed forces. He has opened for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Dave Attell, Patrice O’Neal, and Alonzo Bodden. His material can regularly be heard on Sirius Radio’s The Jamie Foxx show.
February’s show also features Manny Martin. Known for his high energy, silliness and likeability, Manny Martin has opened for some of the top comedians in the country. Manny hosts the weekly Comic Search open mic at The Parlor Live comedy club in Bellevue and performs weekly all over the Seattle area.
The show is hosted by Seattle Comedian and Hi-Fi regular Cris Rodriguez. A native of Florida, Cris has been making waves since he began comedy in Seattle in 2010. Cris’ comedy can be heard on Sirius/XM and he regularly performs in clubs and at colleges all over the country. Cris is also the host and creator of The Hoppy Hour Podcast, Seattle’s best beer & comedy podcast.
Since opening in 2013, Hi-Fi Brewing has become a staple of the Redmond craft beer scene, with its Woofer Porter and Sitar IPA finding their way onto tap lists throughout the Seattle-Tacoma area. The on-site taproom is open seven days a week offers beer lovers—and now comedy fans—a cozy mid-century modern vibe.
