If you are a fan of barrel-aged beers, including sours, the Elliot Bay Invitational on Saturday, November 12 from 1pm to 5pm is a special opportunity to sample beers from local breweries and cideries. Brewers from Elliott Bay Brewing Co. were each asked to pick two of their favorite local breweries to participate in the event. In addition to five distinct beers from Elliot Bay, there will be barrel-aged offerings from eight other breweries and two cideries from around the Northwest.
Attendees will receive 15 four ounce tastes of special barrel-aged beers and ciders, an event-branded glass, four paired bites and a selection of appetizers. Tickets are available online for $55.

http://elliottbayinvitational16.brownpapertickets.com/Elliott Bay brewers were each asked to pick two of their favorite, local breweries to invite to pour a barrel-aged creation at a ticketed, tasting event in the Cascade Hall at Elliott Bay Public House in Lake City. Alongside these rare and fantastic selections, Elliott Bay will pour five of their own barrel-aged beers. The talented Elliott Bay kitchen staff will also prepare delicious paired bites as well as other delectable nosh-ables.
