Taster trays are the way to go.

With the ridiculous rain we’ve continued to see here in Seattle lately, it is definitely still barleywine season. Lucky for you, Beveridge Place Pub is ready to kick of its 15th Annual Barleywine Bacchanal tomorrow. The event will run through Sunday, and there will surely be some barleywine pouring next week, as well.

They will have 30 of their taps dedicated to barleywines, both fresh and older vintages. Owner Gary Sink has been hard at work tasting older batches to see what offerings are ready to go. Selections will change daily, and over 70 barleywines are expected to be poured in total.

There are also daily features throughout the fest:
Thu, Mar 16 – New & Old: First-time releases & Rare Vintages
Fri, Mar 17 – Barrel-aged Barleywines
(Bourbon, Brandy, Cognac, Cabernet, Oak, & more)
Sat, Mar 18 – 3-Year Verticals of Pike Old Bawdy, Stone Old Guardian, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, & Avery Hog Heaven!
Sun, Mar 19 – Kill the keg, win a prize!
