The beer industry has had plenty of collaboration in the past, but the new Bottle Shop Collaboration Project (BCP) is a bit of a new twist. Eleven of Western Washington’s best bottle shops are joining forces to team up with local breweries to craft some special releases. First up is a collaboration with Cloudburst Brewing, which will be tapped simultaneously at all of the bottle shops (and at Cloudburst) on Friday, March 24.

BCP Release 01: Cloudburst Brewing Soul Proprietor IPA
Friday March 24th at 5PM (simultaneous tapping at 11 bottle shops & Cloudburst Brewing)
What happens when you combine your favorite bottle shops and your favorite breweries? Well—we’re about to find out! Eleven Washington bottle shops (see list below) are teaming up with some of our favorite breweries to release special small batch beers. Some will be draft only, some will be bottled or canned, the styles will vary, but they will all show our love for craft beer.Jordan White, General Manager of Chuck’s Hop Shop Central District: “My goal with this project is to create a spirit of friendship and comradery between our local beer stores. We’ve committed to partnering in order to create unique collaborations that highlight the need for independent beer retailers. As chain stores become more savvy in their buying practices–it makes perfect sense to pool our industry connections, buying power, and experiences.”
For the first release, we teamed up with Seattle’s Cloudburst Brewing— and did what Cloudburst does best—an IPA.
Soul Proprietor IPA was brewed with Chinook, Citra and Galaxy hops and a ton of Mosaic hop dust. It will be simultaneously tapped at 5PM on Friday March 24th at the below locations. Only 17 kegs of this were produced so don’t miss out!
