Last year, Sierra Nevada brought its Beer Camp Across America festival to Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. Held just outside MOHAI at Lake Union Park, it was a fun event. Lots of great beers, many that we don’t typically see in Seattle, and the picturesque location was easy to get to without driving and was large enough for the crowds. There was even some great music (Deep Sea Diver!) included.
Sierra Nevada is bringing the fun back with Beer Camp on Tour, and this year’s event will be held at Gas Works Park on the evening of Friday, June 30. The event will feature hundreds of beers, food trucks and live music. They say that “every craft brewer in the nation” is invited to pour at the festival. So far, the lineup includes breweries like Chuckanut Brewery, Bale Breaker Brewing, Wet Coast Brewing, Trap Door Brewing, Gilgamesh Brewing and more. You can keep checking the website for updates as more breweries are added to the lineup.
Tickets are $55 and include “all tastings” (I think we had more tickets than we knew what to do with last year) and a commemorative tasting glass.
This festival is in support of Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Across the World collaboration 12-pack. The brewery partnered with 6 overseas and 6 stateside breweries for a one-time release loaded with “dream beers”. The 12-pack will be available at retailers in June. Learn more about the collaboration beers here.
