Press Release:
The 12th Annual Washington Brewers Festival, presented by Bev-Mo!, is less than a month away and below is the list of the record number 130 Washington craft breweries that will be on hand at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond, the weekend of June 16-18. Washington breweries will occupy all 130 of the available pouring stations continuing the tradition of this event being by far, the largest Washington-only craft beer festival. Some of the 20+ event newcomers for 2017 include Chainline Brewing, Kirkland, O-Town Brewing, Olympia, River Time Brewing, Darrington, 54-40 Brewing, Washougal, and Cairn Brewing, of Kenmore.
The Festival kicks off on Friday, June 16, from 4pm to 9:30pm, with nearly all of the breweries on hand pouring a special “Friday only” special brew. All 130 breweries will then be on-site pouring more than 500 locally brewed craft beers on Saturday from 11am to 9pm and Sunday from 11:30am to 5:30pm. More than 20,000 attendees are expected again for this Father’s Day weekend celebration. Although Washington Beer is definitely the star of the show, there will also be a live music stage and a dozen notable local food trucks on site as well.
Complete details, including the 500+ beer list and descriptions, will be available at washingtonbeer.com on Thursday, June 1st!

BEERS The Festival is a celebration of world class beer brewed in Washington state, offering a wide variety of craft beers including many hoppy beers, refreshing summer seasonal brews, and many hard-to-find rarities. Friday, select Washington breweries will be open (100+ breweries) with some offering Friday-exclusive beers. Saturday and Sunday will feature the full 130 brewery lineup with more than 500 unique beers on tap.
KIDS In addition to the spectacular beer selection for 21+ adults, the Festival offers many activities for the young ones including bouncy toys, slides, and a kids’ craft tent where they can make Fathers Day cards and gifts. In addition, Washington Beer’s own root beer garden will serve up premium craft root beer brewed by local breweries.
CIDER/WINE This year’s Cider & Wine Tasting Tent will feature a handful of delicious Washington brewed ciders and a nice selection of red and white wine on tap from Vessel Wines.
LIVE MUSIC Friday night “headliner” is “Washed in Black” a salute to Seattle’s own Pearl Jam.
Over the weekend you’ll hear everything from funk, alt-country rock to blues. Similar to the beer selection the Festival’s music lineup features an eclectic blend of Northwest musical talent. Complete live music lineup at washingtonbeer.com
FOOD Fantastic offerings from more than a dozen local food trucks and other festival fare.

For the second year you can earn your beer on Father’s Day with the “Washington Beer Run”, a fun 5k (3.1 mile) run (or walk) around the park. The Beer Run takes place on Sunday morning, June 18, at 10am. Finishers of the Beer Run will be admitted to the tasting festival at 11am, 30-minutes before the general public. This will be an opportunity to stake out a great spot for Father’s Day at the event and enjoy 30-minutes of tasting before the crowds of beer lovers join in. Registration for the Washington Beer Run includes a ticket for Sunday entry to the Brewers Festival, a run t-shirt, extra tasting token, bottle opener, and the early entry. Sign up now at WashingtonBeerRun.com before the event day as there is no day-of-event registration.
