Do you consider yourself a bit of a bar room artist? Maybe you put some of the sweet coaster art at Stumbling Monk up on the wall? Well, put your talents to work and win yourself some schwag or gift certificates for this Seattle Beer Week event.

The coaster art contest will be conducted starting on Thursday 5/13 and all entries must be recieved by Friday 5/21.

This year’s participants will be:

Beveridge Place Pub
Brouwers Cafe
Naked City Taphouse
Big Time
Whiskey Bar
The Dray
Pike Brewery
Pyramid Brewery
Hopvine

Each participating venue will receive 100 blank, SBW stamped coasters. It will be up to the bar to get the coasters into the hands of the potential artists. On Friday 5/21 the bar will have the best 10 coasters to submit for final judging. Art can be in any medium, but must be done in the bar. Please include both the artist’s full name, and the name of the bar on the back (stamped side) of the coaster. In the case that the artist cannot make it to the final ceremony their prize will be held by the submitting bar.

The 100 finalists will be judged in 5 categories:
Best interpretation of a Seattle brewer.
Best Hop
Seattle is to me…
I like bikes
Best in Show

There will only be one winner/prize per category.
